Kepa Arrizabalaga has claimed Chelsea must win against Tottenham to restablish their form in front of a home crowd.
The Blues have played three consecutive away matches in the last week, recording a win, loss and a draw, with the victory coming against Tottenham in the Carabao Cup.
However, the club's Premier League form has been more sketchy with Thomas Tuchel's men without a win since Boxing Day, against Aston Villa.
Chelsea have already played 15 games since the beginning of December, and recorded six draws. Their form has seen them drop off the pace in the Premier League as they sit 13 points off Manchester City, while the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham are in touching distance of challenging for the top four.
Kepa's own performances have been solid in the absence of Edouard Mendy, and have included two clean sheets against Spurs already, but the Spaniard is not content with that.
He said: "I am not happy because we drop points and the most important thing is to win. I'm feeling well with confidence and good distance with the guys in long balls, confident with the ball at my feet.
"I'm feeling well, trying to help the team, trying to give my best. It's the London Derby again, at Stamford Bridge so it's good news. We'll go for a win. We need to win, we need to play well and take three points in front of our people.
"We are honest. We are in good positions in all the competitions - we are in the Champions League, we have the League Cup final and the World Club Cup - but in the Premier League we have dropped points in the last month. We have to get back to winning ways because everybody is coming [up behind us].
"We need points because we want to be on top of the league, but we have to look at ourselves, improve and step up. We have another big game on Sunday, a London derby, and from there we go."
Chelsea boss Tuchel was left frustrated by the impact of the Blues' schedule on his players, and believes that's why his side could not press home their advantage.
He said: "Because we are tired. We are mentally tired and physically tired. You can see it in our performance. It's as easy as that."
However, Kepa was less forgiving. While those components could certainly play a part in concentration, the 27-year-old glovesman was frustrated to concede from a set piece.
He said: "Of course there is disappointment and frustration. We only got a point because they scored from a set-piece. We worked a lot, we ran a lot, but in small details we lost two points.
"Set-pieces are about concentration, about focus and taking your man. We have to look at ourselves, not outside, and improve. There is not one solution. We are working on it, trying to find solutions."
