Local residents have opposed plans to reintroduce a lightwell at a Victorian pub in west London over claims it could ‘enable upskirting’.

The proposals, submitted by the design firm Wentworth Andersen have sparked backlash from local residents, who argue that reinstating the original feature would amount to “designing our streets like the set of a Victorian peep show.”
