Arsenal legend Kenny Sansom has opened up on his struggles with alcohol and the steps he's taken to rebuild his life after he was left in a coma and unable to walk back in 2020.
The 64-year-old is still lauded at the Emirates by the Gunners faithful after clocking up over 300 appearances for the club across an eight-year spell. Sansom also had stints at numerous other clubs, including Crystal Palace and Newcastle, but it's his time at Arsenal that stands out above all others.
Since hanging up his boots, Sansom has been plagued by a number of issues: long running battles with alcohol and gambling and depression.
