Kenny Moore remains a non-participant at Colts OTAs

The Indianapolis Colts returned to the practice field Wednesday for organized team activities (OTAs), but cornerback Kenny Moore II remained on the sidelines as he hopes to receive a new contract.

This is simply an update on Moore’s status as this soft holdout continues. He’s attending the offseason workouts in person, but he simply isn’t participating.

Moore still has two years left on the current deal he signed in 2019, but he does have a solid gripe with feeling underpaid. According to Spotrac, Moore’s average annual value of $8.325 million ranks 27th among all cornerbacks in the NFL.

However, the Colts reportedly have “no intention” of reworking his current deal, feeling the deal he signed was fair and is still fair, according to the report.

While holding out of voluntary OTAs isn’t that big of a deal, we will want to keep an eye out for next week when mandatory minicamp rolls around.

If Moore is still a non-participant, we may be one step closer to seeing a true holdout take place.
