KENNY MILLER reckons Rangers need reinforcements at both ends of the park if Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side are to compete at home and abroad this season.
The Dutchman has added a handful of players to his squad already this summer as the likes of Ben Davies, Malik Tillman and Antonio Colak have arrived at Ibrox.
Van Bronckhorst could still look to make further moves, though, after securing a Champions League windfall with the victory over PSV Eindhoven last week.
The sales of Calvin Bassey and Joe Aribo, to Ajax and Southampton respectively, are the only two major departures from Ibrox so far this term.
And former Light Blues hero Miller would like to see further strength and depth at the back and up front to ensure Rangers are equipped to fight on all fronts in the coming months.
"It might depend on what kind of business gets done the other way," Miller told Sky Sports when asked what business Rangers could do. "There's a lot of reports surrounding Alfredo Morelos, obviously.
"Ryan Kent is even getting linked with a move. Glen Kamara has been subject of a bit of interest over the last few weeks as well.
"If everybody was to stay, I still think the Champions League gives you the ability to go and strengthen the squad and give it a healthier look to fire on four fronts.
"For me, a striker potentially, depending on Alfredo and Kemar Roofe's fitness. Even a centre-back needs to maybe be looked at.
"James Sands has done well over the last few looks and he's played his part in getting the team through to the Champions League in the early stage of the season.
"I think Connor Goldson moving forward needs a more stable partner, someone who that is their position.
"I know James Sands can play right-back, centre-mid and he does play centre-back for his national team, but maybe another centre-back."
