Kenneth Branagh's Belfast , which landed in cinemas in Northern Ireland two weeks ago, has received six nominations for this year's BAFTA ( British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Awards.
The film, a black-and-white family drama about Northern Ireland on the brink of the troubles in the late 1960s, was inspired by Branagh's own upbringing in Belfast.
Since it first premiered last year, the film has received overwhelming acclaim, both at home and internationally.
