Kendrick Lamar has added another prestigious award to his collection by winning the song of the year for his track “Not Like Us” at the 2025 Grammy Awards. This victory comes shortly after he also secured the record of the year award for the same song, which marked the culmination of a highly publicized rap feud with Drake.
During his acceptance speech, Lamar expressed his deep appreciation for rap music, emphasizing its enduring power and cultural significance. He paid tribute to West Coast artists and asserted the lasting impact of the genre, stating, “We are the culture. It’s going to always stay here forever.”
