Kendall Jenner made her Venice Film Festival debut in an archival Giorgio Armani gown.
The model attended the Sept. 3 premiere of "Wild Horse Nine" at the Sala Grande wearing a champagne-colored dress from Armani's Fall/Winter 1995 ready-to-wear collection.
The vintage gown featured a close-fitting silhouette, a scoop neckline, floral embroidery and rows of sequin embellishment along the lower portion of the dress. Its soft metallic color gave the look a subtle shimmer under the festival lights.
Rather than adding oversized accessories, Jenner kept the styling focused on the gown. She wore Briony Raymond Shadow diamond drop earrings featuring an 8-carat cushion-cut stone set in 18-karat yellow gold.
She completed the ensemble with nude heels and minimal styling, allowing the archival Armani design to remain the centerpiece of the appearance.
The Venice look marked an important fashion moment for Jenner, who attended the festival as a global fragrance ambassador for Emporio Armani.
Her decision to wear a piece from 1995 also placed her within one of the season's strongest red-carpet trends: the return of archival fashion.
Major celebrities have increasingly selected vintage runway designs for premieres and festival appearances. The choice allows them to reference fashion history while wearing pieces that are less likely to appear on multiple current red carpets.

Her festival debut came after her appearance at the 2026 Met Gala, where she wore a custom GapStudio design created by Zac Posen.
The 83rd Venice International Film Festival runs from Sept. 2 through Sept. 12 on the Lido. The event has featured a mixture of new custom designs, couture pieces and archival looks throughout its red-carpet schedule.
Jenner's choice demonstrated how a vintage gown can feel current when paired with simple styling. The combination of metallic color, delicate embellishment and a clean silhouette gave the look a polished quality without overwhelming the wearer.
