Kelsey Parker reveals she no longer listens to The Wanted following Tom's death

Kelsey Parker admitted she no longer listens to her The Wanted's songs after her husband Tom Parker died.

The singer died when he was only 33 years old, leaving Kelsey and their young children Bodhi, two, and three-year-old Aurelia behind.

He passed away in March after being diagnosed with a brain tumour.

In the new ITVBe programme, Kelsey Parker: Life After Tom, the widow opened up about how her late husband's songs affect her.

At one point during the programme, she logged onto the family laptop to prepare for an interview.

However, the screen still had Tom's song recordings, which she paused to listen to.

"I can't listen to The Wanted songs, I can't do it," she said. "The kids want to play Glad You Came.

"And I'm like, 'No, Glad You Came is banned'. Tom was the most amazing singer and I just loved listening to him."

"I find it so hard now when I find his music. He was just such a talented, talented man. He would just sit in his studio for hours on end just playing the same bit of music, like the same eight bars on repeat and it used to drive me absolutely crazy."

She added: "You know what, I would give anything to listen to him up in that studio one last time."

Kelsey recently reflected on how Brits cope with grief as she opened up about brief and how people react to it.

The mum-of-two revealed how people will cross the street so they don’t have to speak to her as they don’t understand how she’s coping.

Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine, Kelsey said: “In the UK, we don’t talk about grief. We don’t talk about death. It’s a taboo subject.

“Even when I see people, they don’t really want to talk to me about it. Honestly, people cross the road so they don’t have to talk to me.

“It’s crazy. People don’t know what to say. It’s so shocking because Tom was so young. I think they try to put themselves in my position and think ‘I don’t know how she’s actually coping.’

“I just want to talk to people and be normal and continue my life, but that’s harder for me when people don’t want to talk to me.”
