LA-based designer Kelly Wearstler and Swedish retailer H&M Home may not seem like obvious counterparts. Until now, neither had a presence at Salone del Mobile – but with the debut of their joint collection at Milan Design Week 2026, they not only close that gap, but, for the first time, can call themselves collaborators.
The interior design collection, which spans lighting, accessories, and modular furniture in textiles, wood, metal, ceramics, and marble, launched inside the frescoed rooms of Palazzo Acerbi. Thirteen pieces were shown during the Salone presentation, with the offering set to expand to 29 when it launches globally across 40 markets in September 2026.
Far from a box-ticking foray, it stands as a deliberate, democratizing expansion of Kelly’s contemporary aesthetic.

‘This is my Milan Design Week debut, and H&M HOME is the perfect partner. Their global presence and genius for storytelling align perfectly with my vision. Bringing this collection to life in Milan and showing people how the pieces come alive in a real space – that’s what excites me,’ says Kelly Wearstler.
Designed to shift and evolve within a space, pieces can be reconfigured (a chair becoming a sofa, for instance), but even non-modular options are intended to adapt to daily rituals, from drinking water with a dedicated carafe set, to getting dressed with a sculptural clothing rack.

‘This collection represents many firsts for us. Having a presence at Milan Design Week has long been a dream, and with Kelly, we knew the moment was right,' says Evelina Kravaev-Söderberg, H&M HOME Head of Design & Creative. 'H&M HOME has a global presence, but with this milestone, we want to make an impact on customers and the design industry in a new way.’

For Kelly, whose work spans hospitality projects including the Proper hotels and high-profile cultural moments like Art Basel, the debut marks a new kind of visibility, trading exclusivity for access. For H&M Home, it signals a move toward greater design credibility on an international stage.
For the first time, Kelly Wearstler’s world is within reach.
