Keith Brown looks ahead to National's indyref event – get your tickets

THE SNP’s depute leader Keith Brown has said he is “thrilled” to be attending The National’s event to mark 10 years since the anniversary of the independence referendum.

We’ll be screening the brilliant To See Ourselves documentary, which follows one campaigner and his family’s journey through the 2014 campaign, and hosting a Q&A afterwards.

The event will take place at the Social Hub in Glasgow on September 17 and you can still get tickets by clicking HERE.

Brown told The National: “I’m thrilled to be attending the screening of To See Ourselves at the Social Hub in Glasgow on September 17, marking 10 years since the historic 2014 independence referendum.

“This powerful documentary, capturing the passion and dedication of campaigners like Jane, Fraser and their family, is a poignant reminder of the resilience and determination that continue to drive our movement today.”

Following the screening, director Jane McAllister will be joined by her father Fraser and friend Matthew – both central figures in the film.

They’ll be joined on the panel by Brown as well as top independence campaigner, author and journalist Lesley Riddoch.

Brown added: “I’m particularly looking forward to the panel discussion joining other voices from the independence movement as we reflect on our journey and look ahead to the future.”

Make sure to come along for a screening of an informative, moving documentary film and take the opportunity to put your questions to the panel on this important anniversary.
