Keir Starmer ‘resolute’ amid expected leadership challenges after elections

A leadership challenge to Sir Keir Starmer would not be the answer to Labour’s problems, a key ally of the Prime Minister has said on the eve of elections across Britain.

Voters are set to go to the polls on Thursday for the Scottish and Welsh parliaments, as well as for local councils across England.
