Kaye Adams has revealed that doctors have told her to seek medical help - after finding her to be almost completely deaf in one ear.
The 59-year-old Loose Women presenter has recently undergone a series of tests ahead of her debut on BBC staple, Strictly Come Dancing.
She has now admitted that she has been advised to get hearing aids.

The Mirror reports that Kaye said the checks found one of her ears to have a poor level of hearing, while the other is trying to compensate as a result. "My hearing is an issue, to the extent that I’ve had full consultations and examinations on my ears. It’s probably getting to the stage where it’s getting problematic in certain situations," she told The Sun.
She added: "I have been recommended to get hearing aids. One ear in particular has a very poor level of hearing and the other one is trying it’s best to compensate."
Kaye previously opened up about hearing struggles for around five years, telling about the 'scary' times during an episode of Loose Women last month. Speaking on the ITV hit, she said: "For around five-ish years, maybe more, I have been aware that I've been struggling but you just make excuses."
Kaye has joked about her lost hearing in the past, but eventually came to the realisation that it was starting to get more and more serious as the years went on. She continued: "Although you laugh that off, it is now beginning to get to me because, I think, I'm really missing things and I don't want to be a standing joke."
The show went on to feature a segment showing Kaye visiting a doctor to have her hearing tested, before being told she was losing her hearing in both ears. The professional advised that the host should wear a hearing aid in each moving forward.
Kaye then opened up about the experience on her Instagram Stories, writing: "Never thought I'd say I enjoyed an ear test but @ferazashraf made it easy and painless. Have to admit though his diagnosis was a shock."
Kaye was announced as the fourth celebrity to be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing 2022.
