Kaye Adams was the target of a rather cruel move by the Loose Women team on Tuesday, as she returned to the show for the first time since her exit from Strictly Come Dancing.
After just two performances on Strictly, former news anchor Kaye was given her marching orders from the BBC ballroom at the weekend, after she and professional dance partner Kai Widdrington lost out in the dreaded dance off to Matt Goss and Nadiya Bychkova. Only head judge Shirley Ballas said she would have saved Kaye and Kai, after their exit had already been sealed by the decisions of the other judges.
Kaye has been very dignified in defeat, taking time to heap praise on Kai for being an amazing teacher and on Tuesday, she was forced to watch back the moment she was kicked off Strictly as she took the reins of the latest episode of Loose Women. Joined on the panel by Coleen Nolan, Denise Welch and Janet Street-Porter, Kaye seemed reluctant to talk about what happened, before saying she'd had a fantastic experience on the show and, once again paying tribute to all of Kai's hard work.

There was an unfortunate moment later on in the show when, after Denise talked about going to Whitley Bay Ice Rink as a child, Janet chimed in: "Oh that's where I saw Bros!" It took just seconds for it to dawn on everyone that that was a badly timed remark, given that Bros is the band Kaye's rival Matt was in.
That wasn't the end of the Bros references though and, as the show returned from its final ad break, producers put the boot into Kaye's Strictly upset by then playing the group's famous hit When Will I Be Famous. As Coleen danced along in her seat next to Kaye, the presenter exclaimed: "What is this?" before adding: "You're really rubbing it in now."
Following Kaye's early exit from Strictly, bookies are now tipping former Arsenal star Tony Adams to follow her off the show, ahead of the next elimination this weekend.
