Kaye Adams enjoyed a reunion with her former Strictly Come Dancing pro partner Kai Waddrington in Glasgow on Wednesday night. The Scots star headed along to the city's Royal Concert Hall with her long-term partner Ian Campbell to catch Kai's new show with Nadiya Bychovka. After the gig, Kaye took to social media to encourage people to go along to the see the show-stopping performance for theirselves.
Professional partners Nadiya and Kai are currently touring across the UK with Once Upon A Time, a dance spectacular which also features tales from their childhood and insight into their professional relationship. Loose Women panellist Kaye was delighted to have got a snap with the pair afterwards.
The BBC radio host, 60, took part in the series last year paired with Kai, but her dancing dreams didn't last very long as she was sadly the first to be eliminated, although it clearly hasn't dampened her spirits for the popular BBC series.
"What an incredible night of dance! @nadiyabychkova and @kaiwidd you were incredible," she wrote.
"and I urge any of you who can do it catch the last dates of their Once Upon A Time tour. Check out full details on @nadiyaandkai!"
In another post before entering the show, she posted a sneak peek outside of her leaflet admitting she was "slightly mortified" after saying she was "excited" to be there.
And people were glad to see her long-term partner Ian, who she shares two daughters with, quipping: "Lovely photo. Nice to see Ian."
Meanwhile, speaking of her performance when she appeared on the show in 2022, Kaye almost even admitted she regretted the decision to get on her dancing shoes after feeling humiliated at being the first couple booted out.
Kaye said on Loose Women recently she hoped her leap to appear on the reality dancing show competition would have created a "new me" but doesn't feel she achieved it.
After being asked by Denise Welch: "If you could go back to the start of the year, what would you tell that Kaye?" Kaye replied: "I'd say Kaye 'you can't dance, don't do it'," as her co-stars all assured her that she could.
"What I told myself when I made the decision to do it was 'Kaye you've got to put yourself outside your comfort zone,' because you hear that's good for you. Now I maybe think it's called a comfort zone for a reason," Kaye added.
She then candidly admitted: "I had hoped it would create a new me and it didn't, so maybe I just have to be happy with the old me" before Denise told her: "But we don't want a new you."
