Kaye Adams seemed a little triggered by a comment made by Katie Piper on Friday's Loose Women, as she accused her co-star of firing 'a low blow' about her age live on air.
Regular host Kaye was back at the head of the Loose Women panel as the ITV show brought another week of live broadcasts to a n end, with her being joined by former Strictly contestant Katie and colleagues Nadia Sawalha and Jane Moore. After discussing speculation that long-running BBC soap EastEnders could be in its 'final years,' talk turned to the very different topic of hanging baskets being taken down from towns and cities in the UK, because they aren't 'biodiverse.'
As well, as being present outside many people's front doors over the last few decades, hanging baskets have been common place in many public areas for years, but Kaye informed her co-stars, that they could soon become a thing of the past, as the audience reacted in shock.

The first to offer her opinions, Katie said: "A hanging basket for me is a sign of a good pub. If a pub's got a decent hanging basket; I know it'll have good chips, good gammon...I'll go and eat at that pub." She continued: "It's nostalgic for me, because my mum and dad had hanging baskets, so it takes me straight back to my parents' house. They still have hanging baskets outside the house."
Kaye then interrupted to ask: "Are you saying they're old fashioned? I have hanging baskets," to which Katie replied: "No, well it's my childhood. It's the 80s and 90s," as Kaye's jaw dropped and she turned to the audience and remarked: "Ooh, that was a low blow. Did you see it?"
In the past, Kaye who turned 60 last year, has admitted to lying about her age, even to her own daughter, by making up a fake date of birth, as she didn't want to appear old.
