In the Juniors Week of Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16, 15-year-old Aryan Handa from Bhatinda, Punjab, will capture the nation’s heart with his brilliance, curiosity, and unwavering determination. Aryan, a 10th-grade student, will not only become the first Junior contestant of the season to win an astounding 50 lakh points but will also attempt the 1 crore question! His decision to reach for the highest prize is truly inspiring.
Aryan’s passion for space and science is truly extraordinary. His fascination with the cosmos took off last year during the launch of Chandrayaan-3. "When the news of Chandrayaan 3 broke, my curiosity about space grew immensely," Aryan shared. "I started asking different questions about moons, planets, galaxies, and stars, spending hours researching them." This curiosity inspired his dream of becoming an aerospace engineer, and he looks up to ISRO's Chairman, S. Somnath, as his greatest inspiration. Big B was so impressed by Aryan’s ambition that he said, "Bharat ka bhavishya acche haathon mein hai, kaaran baithe hai hamare saamne." In his usual playful style, AB quipped, "You're talking about ISRO at the age of 15; I couldn’t even tie my pyjama at that age (laughs). Congratulations to you, hope your dream comes true."
