Katy Perry wins court case as judge orders disabled veteran to pay £1.4m in Montecito mansion row

A judge has ordered nearly £1.4 million in damages to Katy Perry following her long-running legal dispute with US veteran Carl Westcott over the Montecito mansion she bought five years ago.

Perry, 41, and the businessman who founded 1-800-Flowers have been locked in a bitter battle since 2020 over the £11 million property in the exclusive enclave home to Oprah Winfrey and Meghan Markle.
