Katy Perry is reportedly poised for a multi-million-pound payday as she's been booked to perform at a wedding celebration for the son of India's wealthiest man.
The singer, 39, is believed to be travelling to Cannes in the South of France to serenade Anant Ambani, 29, and his bride, Radhika Merchant, at a masquerade ball.
Anant is the son of Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries and Asia's wealthiest man, with a net worth exceeding $114 billion, according to Forbes.
The Firework hitmaker is set to join the ranks of music superstars Rihanna and Beyoncé, who have previously been paid staggering fees to perform for the billionaire.
For his daughter's wedding in 2018, Mukesh reportedly paid the Crazy in Love singer $6 million to perform for guests.
Rihanna allegedly earned $6.33 million for performing at a pre-wedding celebration for the nearlyweds in March, according to MailOnline.
The We Found Love singer performed a 19-song long setlist which included some of her biggest hits while illusionist David Blaine and Bollywood's Diljit Dosanjh where also enlisted to entertain guests at the three-day celebration.
The event attracted high-profile guests from around the world, including global tech CEOs, Bollywood stars, pop icons, and politicians such as Karlie Kloss, Ivanka Trump, Bill Gates, Robert Iger, and Mark Zuckerberg.
Now, it has been claimed that Perry will be putting on a private concert for the couple ahead of their wedding in July in Mumbai.
The American Idol judge will reportedly entertain the bride, groom, and their 800 guests during a cruise around Europe.
A source told to The Sun: “They have invited 800 guests who are currently on a space-themed cruise around Europe, with stops in Barcelona and Genoa.
“It will arrive in Cannes on Friday for the big bash, which will be at a £40million estate. The party itself will only last five hours but Katy will headline it, with a DJ also being flown in as part of the top-tier entertainment.
“Afterwards, guests will watch a huge fireworks display from a small armada of ships waiting in the Bay of Cannes. When they say there’s been no expense spared, they really mean it.”
