Katy Perry has shared a secret detail of her stunning Coronation dress with her fans.
The California Gurls singer revealed that her Vivienne Westwood vast gold lamé ballgown feature delicate embroidery reading: "Katy Perry [Crown symbol] Charles III 2023 VW" in the lining.
She took to the stage in a series of outfits to perform her roster for King Charles and Queen Camilla at the Coronation concert on Sunday evening.
Katy kept the audience of 20,000 people entertained as she sang through her most famous hits, accompanied by eccentric set designs, an incredible light show and pyrotechnics.
She beamed as she thanked the new King for giving her the privilege to stay at Windsor castle with her mum, Pentecostal pastor, Mary Perry.
"I got to bring my mum and stay in a castle!" she gushed.
Sharing a snap of her show-stopping gown to her Instagram, fans quickly lept to the comments to share how beautiful the star looked.
Reality star and momager, Kris Jenner wrote: "Wow!!!! Soooo beautiful!!!"
"You just nailed it today. So proud to be a Katycat for 10 years," a second put, while a third added: "The only person to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show, President’s inauguration and royal coronation ceremony within their entire career. Legendary behavior.."
Her husband and former Pirates of the Caribbean actor Orlando Bloom gushed over his wife in the comments, telling her that he felt "immensely proud."
"Immensely proud of you my love, you always bring the light," he wrote, to which Katy replied: "Our light."
Elsewhere in the Coronation concert, Katy teamed up with Lionel Richie to film a short segment with the royal couple themselves.
King Charles and Queen Camilla spoke to American Idol judges via video link alongside current judges Lionel Richie and Katy Perry, as they virtually "checked in" with fellow judge Ryan Seacrest.
As Lionel and Katy spoke with Ryan and the American Idol audience, Katy appeared to bow down in their presence, before gasping and saying: "Oh goodness," as the King and Queen walked in.
"I just wanted to check how long you will be using this room for," King Charles said laughing. "I just wanted to check."
"Thank you for your brilliant performance and thank Katy as well. It really was," he added before stating that it was "great to have you both here."
