DUBLIN — Irish lightweight champion, Katie Taylor  is expected to claim victory over her rival Chantelle Cameron in a match scheduled for November 25 at the 3Arena in Dublin Ireland.

The duo will be meeting  for the second time after their previous match that took place in the same venue in May 20 this year, where Chantelle retained her light welterweight championship through majority decision (MD).

37 year old Katie is a former footballer, a two weight world champion and the current undisputed lightweight champion. Taylor has held several titles since her career took off including World Boxing Association (WBA) since 2017, International Boxing Federation (IBF) since 2018, and both World Boxing Council (WBC) with World Boxing Organization (WBO) titles since 2019. The four titles have made her one of the eight boxers both male and female to hold major titles simultaneously.

“I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:8,” said Katie in her Instagram Bio.

Taylor (22-1-0) has achieved success in her boxing career by attaining 5 Gold medals at the Women’s World Championships (WWC) and 6 gold medals at the European Championships. As of March 2023, she ranked as the world’s best active female lightweight by Box Rec and the best active female boxer pound for pound by the Ring.

Her opponent Chantelle Cameron is an 31 year old English professional boxer with two weight classes and the current undisputed light welterweight champion. She has held the WBO title since 2020, IBF title & Ring magazines titles since 2021 and WBA & WBO titles since November 2022.

“I’ve really felt the benefits using supreme-cbd ahead of my next fight, it helps with anxiety/depression, any aches/pains and insomnia, link in my bio. It really does work,” said Chantelle (18-0-0) on X.

In November 2022 she defeated her rival Jessica McCaskill making her the undisputed light welterweight champion and the UK’s first undisputed female boxing world champion. She retained the title in May 20 2023 after she emerged victorious over Taylor through majority decision. The scheduled event will act as a rematch to weigh both champions and weigh who will fight enough to retain their respective titles.
