Katie Taylor has opened up on the sacrifices she has had to make in her life to achieve success.
The Bray Bomber took her professional record to 22-0 with a dominant display against Argentina's Karen Elizabeth Carabajal in London last weekend.
The victory topped off a fantastic year for the undisputed lightweight queen after she defeated Amanda Serrano at a sold-out Madison Square Garden back in April.

But Taylor revealed she has had to "sacrifice the ordinary pleasures of life" on her way to becoming one of the greatest fighters of all-time as she discussed her faith in an interview with her brother Peter for What's The Story?.
She said: "In my career, it doesn't just take courage on fight night, but it takes courage to show up day in and day out, to push my body to that point where it hurts.
"It takes courage to live out this dream. People see this dream as me dancing under the bright lights, hopefully with my hands being raised at the end of it, [but] this dream costs.
"I have to sacrifice an awful lot. I've had to sacrifice the ordinary pleasures of life all for the joy of something bigger.
"It's the same with our faith. It takes courage to live it out day by day. I think it's very tempting to choose what's easy and convenient, but it takes immense courage to suspend what is convenient and to choose what is meaningful."
Taylor has always been incredibly close to her family and admits it is still difficult leaving Bray to head back to Connecticut for training camps.
She added: "Never in a million years I'd have thought I'd be able to move away from family because I was a real home bird. I love being surrounded by family. We're such a tight-knit, close family so it's always really tough for the whole family, even saying our goodbyes when I'm going back for a few more months for training camp."
