Katie Taylor's rematch against Amanda Serrano will not take place in Croke Park, promoter Eddie Hearn has confirmed.

The promoter was speaking ahead of Serrano's fight against Erika Cruz and confirmed the news. Taylor and Serrano met at Madison Square Garden last year in front of a sell out crowd.

And the two were set to meet in Croke Park but Hearn has said the fight will no longer happen at GAA HQ and will take place somewhere else in Ireland. Speaking to Ariel Helwani, Hearn confirmed the news, saying: "The cost of hire and everything involved in the event is three times higher nearly than staging it in Wembley Stadium.
