Katie Price has finally addressed her shock wedding, which saw her marry a man she had known for just a week after meeting him online, insisting: “I’m not stupid, I know what I’m doing.”
The veteran glamour model, 47, stunned fans when she said “I do” for the fourth time, marrying Lee Andrews, 43, in a lavish ceremony in Dubai.
At the time, Price declared the self-styled “businessman” her “Richard Gere” as she shared images of his extravagant proposal, featuring candles and red rose petals spelling out: “Will you marry me Katie?”
She also proudly showed off a huge diamond engagement ring alongside a matching wedding band.
Since then, however, Andrews has been the subject of reports questioning claims made about his business ventures, as well as the alleged use of altered images involving high-profile celebrities.
Andrews had previously said he planned to reunite with Price in the UK, but failed to board a flight. It was later reported that he is on a no-fly list after recently spending time in a Dubai prison.
While Price’s family are said to be understandably concerned, the reality TV star has now spoken out as she prepared to return to Dubai for a honeymoon trip with her new husband.
Uploading a video to her YouTube channel at the weekend, Price said: “I’m going back to Dubai, obviously going back to see Lee. I’ve made no comments about anything, I don’t feel I need to make comments about anything.
“I’m fully aware, like everyone else — I see stuff, I get sent stuff. What I want everyone to know is, I’m a grown a**e woman.
“I’m 48 this year. I’m not a young kid. I’ve learned a lot in the past few years, through therapy and learning to love myself. So I’m not stupid, I know what I’m doing and if I’m happy, that’s all that matters.”

Doubling down amid concerns raised about her new husband, Price added: “At the end of the day, no one knows what I know. It’s only been speculated by the press.
“I am very happy and that’s all that matters. I’m that happy that I’m going back to Dubai for the weekend — I can’t wait.”
She continued: “If there’s anything to update you on, I would always update you all. But I just want people not to worry.
“I’m not worried, so you don’t need to worry about anything. Like I say, I will do what I want to do.
“But I want everyone to know you don’t need to worry — I’m really happy, there’s nothing to worry about. That’s all I need to address on that.”
Despite claiming she was only heading away for a short trip, Price could be seen filling two suitcases with made-to-measure bikinis, Victoria’s Secret lingerie, expensive perfumes, skincare products and designer heels.
The mum-of-five added: “I need to get away — my phone hasn’t stopped blowing up about everything. I’m like, ‘just get me away.’”
