Katie Price has begged for help after revealing the hot tub at her Mucky Mansion is covered in brown sludge.
The 44-year-old glamour model took to her Instagram stories to show fans a video of the dirty hot tub.
After saying she can’t wait to spend the summer with her five kids, Katie pleaded: “Can a company help me get my hot tub up and running for summer?”
She then asked her 2.6 million followers if they knew anyone who could help to send her a direct message in the Instagram story post.
Katie has been transforming her Mucky Mansion and documenting the journey with her Channel 4 show as she overhauls the run down £3 million house she owns in Sussex.
Katie reportedly bought the house in 2014 for £1.3 million. It was previously owned by former Tory minister and House of Lords member, Francis Maude MP.
After being declared bankrupt, narrowly avoiding jail and having a mental health breakdown in recent years, Katie is getting her life back together.
Speaking about her show, Katie Price’s Mucky Mansion, she said she wants to put bad memories in her home behind her.
She shared: “My house has been called the Mucky Mansion in the past, but it’s not that anymore. I’m making it a home.”
Katie continued: “I’m getting my hands dirty and doing a lot of the work myself, and with the help of my amazing family and some brilliant friends, I’m putting the past behind me and rebuilding.
“My house is a bit like my life. It’s being put together, like I’m being put back together.”
The once derelict property was in such bad shape that at one point Katie couldn’t live in it and said she ‘dreaded’ going back there.
Rooms were grimy and filled with clothes and furniture, the outdoor swimming pool was full of green slime and there was a cesspit leak in the grounds of the property.
In 2020 Charlie Farthing, who was a care taker at the Mucky Mansion, gave a grim image of the reality star's home.
He said there were cat and dog droppings everywhere and that the wind blew through broken windows around the house.
Earlier this year, Katie proudly showed off the results of the transformation at Mucky Mansion.
Explaining how the house came to be in such bad shape, Katie told the Mirror: “I was introduced to someone who wanted to turn it into a wedding venue, but it turned out to be a hoax and he ended up fly-tipping all of my land and made my house derelict inside.
“And then it got burgled and someone turned the shower on, so it leaked and my ceiling collapsed. It looked like a building site, so that’s where it got the name Mucky Mansion.”
After her stint in The Priory in 2019, Katie finally felt ready to deal with the damage. “I got to a point where I could come back to the house but to move into it, I had to change everything,” she said.
“I wanted to bring love back into the house and that’s what I’ve done. The past is the past and the house has got a different feel to it now. There is no bad feeling here anymore. It really does feel like a home.”
