Katie Piper has been enjoying a trip down memory lane and reminiscing about the early days of her relationship with her husband Richard Sutton.
Sharing a collection of cute throwback snaps of herself and the TV presenter, 38, Katie confessed to fans she once thought their romance would 'end or pause' during the early stages of dating.
In one of the throwback snaps posted on Thursday, the mum-of-three can been seen recovering in a hospital bed, with Richie by her side - lovingly holding her hand as they smiled for the camera.
But prior to the picture being taken, Katie was worried her operations and procedures would put a dampener on their budding romance.
In March 2008, the Loose Women presenter was viscously attacked with acid by her ex-boyfriend and an accomplice, causing major damage to her face and blindness in one eye.
Katie would go on to undergo pioneering surgery to restore her face and vision after the horrifying attack.
The activist met Richie shortly after the traumatising event, and on Thursday, shared some memories from their first few months together.
"I'm putting some times in storage and came across some old photos of when I first met Richie," Katie captioned a sweet snap of the couple on her Instagram Stories.
"This was taken on my Blackberry in my flat in London. Sat on the sofa watching a rental DVD pre Netflix days. Back then it was Blockbusters and chill."
The documentary maker then went on to reveal their early dating days coincided with several operations she had to have after her horrifying attack.
Writing above a snap of her and Richie in a hospital together, Katie told her one million followers: "Very early on into dating him I had to have an operation on my septum and a skin graft to my chin.
"It was nightmare timing and I assumed things would end [or] pause."
However, Katie and Richie's relationship went from strength to strength - with the star sharing more throwback snaps and happy memories with her fans online.
Captioning a picture of herself with brunette hair shortly after the birth of her first child, the mum-of-two gushed: "This pic was taken some months after we had our first child.
"I started wearing weird necklaces as I didn't know how a mum should dress."
Katie and Richie are doting parents to daughters Belle, seven, and Penelope, three.
Speaking on Loose Women last year, the presenter said she would have pursued other avenues in order to become a mother had she not met her husband when she did.
"It took me a long time to meet my husband. But had I not of met him, I still would have proceeded ahead and had children in some kind of way," she explained on the ITV show during a debate about whether contraception should come with a 'fertility warning'.
"I didn't need a condom to tell me that my time is running out. If you have that intention, you don't forget it."
