Katie Piper looked in good spirits as she headed out for work on Wednesday after undergoing emergency eye surgery last week.
The Loose Women panelist, 38, was rushed to hospital after her husband noticed a black spot in her eye.
Katie's condition worsened and she ended up needed an operation, but is now, thankfully, on the mend.
Seen leaving MediaCity studios Manchester, the star flashed a smile sporting a grey jumper, jeans and Nike trainers.
While her left eye looked bruised, Katie seemed to be recovering well as she waved to photographers.
The mum-of-two has been plagued by medical issues after suffering horrific injuries to her face, chest, arms and hands, and being blinded in one eye, following a 2008 acid attack, organised by her ex-boyfriend.
Sharing photos of herself with a bandaged eye last week, Katie wrote on Instagram : "Emergency Operation for me!
"On Saturday my husband noticed a small black circle in my blind eye, I was excited thinking I had a pupil again, but by Sunday my left eye was extremely painful and couldn’t tolerate light, so I patched it up and put it down to old injuries. I’m used to being in some level of discomfort and I went to work.
"By Sunday night I felt nausea and in extreme pain. I got in touch with my eye specialist @sherazdaya @centreforsightuk and unfortunately he confirmed the black circle was a hole in my eye and the eye had perforated. This had always been a fear that it would happen.
"Yesterday @sherazdaya sourced tissue for me and operated on me. I cannot thank him and his team enough, their knowledge and expertise but also how kind and caring they all are. There maybe some evil people in this world but there are also some pretty incredible people doing amazing things for people on a daily basis. Huge thank you team @sherazdaya @centreforsightuk You are the best!"
Katie's showbiz pals rushed to her share their support with her Loose Women co-host Jane Moore posting: "Sending love and a big hug xx"
While Strictly star Gorka, said: "Sending you all the love."
The inspirational star received her OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire), after being named in the Queen’s New Year Honours list in January.
Katie, who suffered life-changing burns in an acid attack in 2008, was recognised for services to charity and victims of burns and other disfigurement injuries.
