Katie McCabe took no prisoners as she stood up for a teammate in Arsenal's Champions League semi-final clash with Wolfsburg on Saturday.
The match was finely poised at 2-2 in additional time at the Volkswagen Arena when Wolfburg's Lena Oberdorf brought down Lia Walti to stop an Arsenal counter-attack.
It was an awkward two-footed challenge that Ireland captain McCabe didn't take kindly to.
The Dublin charged up the pitch to barge into Oberdorf who fell to the ground from the challenge.
McCabe then passionately made her case to the referee, who gave a yellow card to both Oberdorf and the Arsenal star.
It was an incident synonymous with the passion that has endeared McCabe to the Arsenal fans.
And she will be hoping to help steer the club to a Champions League final as they look forward to welcoming Wolfsburg to the Emirate next Monday.
Arsenal boss Jonas Eidevall was full of praise for his team after the match that ended in a 2-2 draw ahead of the second leg.
He said: "It's amazing to see the resilience, the attitude and the work rate that the players have.
"But it's only half-time. We're happy with the performance and the result but it's all up to be decided in London. We love playing in front of our supporters.
"I've heard we've sold 47,000 tickets. I think we have a very good chance of selling out the Emirates. Together we can make it possible to once again take Arsenal to a Champions League final. That's our dream."
