Police say they are extremely concerned about missing woman Katie Kenyon, as they released an image of a van in connection with her disappearance.
A woman matching Katie’s description was last seen getting into a silver Ford Transit with a man in Todmorden Road, Burnley about 9.30am on Friday.
The van, which had a registration of MT57 FLC, travelled to the Bolton by Bowland area of Lancashire, police believe.
Katie, 33, has not been seen since.
A 50-year-old man from Burnley, who is known to Katie, has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap.
On Monday, police were given a further 36 hours to question him.
Officers released an image of a van as part of a continued appeal for witnesses who may have seen Katie or the vehicle in the Bolton by Bowland area to come forward.
The force said it was continuing to search in the area along with partners from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service and mountain rescue teams.
Det Chief Insp Al Davies, of the Force Major Investigation Team, said: “We continue to be extremely concerned about Katie and we have a large team who are working hard to try and find out what has happened to her.
“I am keeping an open mind about what has happened to her but my concern obviously grows as time goes by.
“I would appeal again to anyone who was in the Bolton by Bowland area on Friday and saw anything suspicious to get in touch, especially if they saw the silver van or Katie alone or in company.
“Please do come and speak to us even if you think the information you have may not be important. We continue to support Katie’s family and to keep them updated with any developments.”
Katie, 33, is described as white, 5’9, with shoulder length strawberry blond/ginger highlighted hair.
She was last seen wearing a blue shirt/jacket and white vest top, black leggings and flip flops.
