RTE star Kathryn Thomas has said it was nice" to be able to focus on Operation Transformation - and not the criticism around it.
The RTE One series came under fire last year when BodyWhys slammed it for triggering eating disorders.
But this year, the show aired without criticism - which Kathryn admitted was "nice."
She said: "We just did what we always do and went out and got people who were willing to share stories and their lives and in fairness, I think changes to the show in the last number of years brought it in a different direction.
“But it was great. It was nice to have anything else to concentrate or worry about other than the show. It meant the whole show was about them."

The mum-of-two said people put themselves forward to be leaders on the show so the show should be about them.
“No. I think for me it’s more about the fact that leaders have put themselves forward for the show like Operation Transformation and so it should be about them.
“But for us, we just keep doing what we’re doing and stand true to what we believe in.
“And like that’s it day to day," she added.
Speaking on Virgin Media's Ireland AM earlier this year, the Carlow native: "What we just say every year is that we have to keep doing what we do and the show speaks for itself.
"I think a lot of criticisms that come at the show comes from a time when the show was very weight-centric.
"The show that I started on 12 years ago is a very different show that's on air now.
"I think the criticism comes from, maybe, people who have not seen the show in recent years.
"We have lots of different indicators of health, yes, weight is one of them.
"And it's really important for people to understand that the leaders who come to us are there, in a lot of cases, to avoid weight-related illnesses like type 2 diabetes, like stroke, like cardiovascular disease.
"Maintaining a healthy weight is a very important part of that as is BMI, as is having your cholesterol checked, as is getting your sleep.
"We have 14 different health indicators that every we check and we monitor.
"Some people come to the show because they want to run a 5k, some people don't know how to cook, some want to lose weight..."
She added: "We've got 400,000 people watching and we did a survey last year, and 73 percent of people make one to two healthy changes in their household from the watching the show."
