Shortly upon its premiere, Big Little Lies joined the ranks of HBO shows that got the world talking. The first season was a faithful book to screen adaptation, which fans watched on the network (and streamed with a HBO Max subscription). Season 1 won a 8 Emmy nominations, and the show promptly returned for a second season (with Meryl Streep in tow). Fans have been holding out hope for a third season, and actress Kathryn Newton recently addressed that possibility.
Big Little Lies Season 3 is taking a long time, but the cast seems interested in reprising their roles for another batch of episodes... eventually.
