Kate Winslet 'rushed to hospital' after being injured on set in Croatia

Kate Winslet has reportedly been rushed to the hospital after being injured on set in Croatia.

The 46-year-old actress was working in a village called Kupari when she injured her leg while filming a movie.

She was taken to Dubrovnik Hospital which is 15 minutes away and arrived in a black van.

According to the Croatian press, the Titanic star walked into the hospital wearing black clothes and donned a face mask.

Mirror have contacted reps for comment.

In the pictures, she was surrounded by many other people as she made her way in.

The actress, who is best known for her role alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic, was previously pictured at Wimbledon earlier this year.

She also previously discussed how she learned an incredible underwater 'superpower' for her role in the new Avatar: The Way Of Water.

The star, who is no stranger to being in bodies of water for a long period of time in movies, learned how to hold her breath for a shocking number of minutes.

Speaking to Empire about her role as Ronal, a free diver of the Metkayina, the 46-year-old said she learned how to hold her breath in a 900,000-gallon water tank for longer than any other cast member.

"Seven minutes and 14 seconds, baby!" she told the publication.

"The most amazing thing for me as a middle-aged woman was to learn something not just new, but superhuman!"

She previously revealed she thought she died while filming underwater for seven whole minutes.

The actress said it was "wonderful" to be underwater for such a long period of time, she knew how dangerous it could be.

Kate also learned how to free-dive for her role in the film, the much-anticipated sequel to 2009's Avatar.

She told Observer Magazine earlier this year: "God, it's just wonderful. Your mind completely drifts off.

"You can't think about anything, you can't make lists in your head, you're just looking at the bubbles underneath you… My first words [when I resurfaced] were, ''Am I dead?' Yes, I thought I'd died."
