The Princess of Wales (aka Kate Middleton) recently headed to Bath to join a team of pupils, being supported by The Dame Kelly Holmes Trust - a charity set up by the athlete in 2008 which uses sports stars as mentors to support young people to find the skills and confidence needed to succeed in education, work and life.
During her visit, Princess Kate showed off her playful side as she bravely competed against double Olympic champion (Dame Kelly Holmes) in a game of bean-bag noughts and crosses - and she did so in style, wearing a brightly coloured £359 yellow blazer from LK Bennett which is still available to buy here.
The 41-year-old mum of three kept the rest of the outfit fairly casual, pairing the bold yellow blazer with a white ribbed off-the-shoulder t-shirt, tailored white trousers with a white leather belt, and her favourite £140 Veja sneakers featuring rose gold embellishments for added glamour.
Although it’s pretty pricey, the stylish blazer will not only add the perfect pop of colour to your wardrobe this summer, but it’s a great statement piece to elevate any casual look, like Princess Kate’s.
This vibrant blazer is crafted in Portugal from a classic tailoring fabric, it's a single-breasted style with a curved peak lapel, a single horn-effect button, front welt pockets, and a beautifully tailored cut.
Two sizes have already completely sold out in the blazer since Princess Kate was seen wearing it, however you can still pick it up in a UK 6, 8, 10, 12 & 14 - but don’t wait around.
If you’re going for the smart workwear look, you can pick up the matching yellow tailored trousers too for £229. Or, we’ve spotted this stylish white pair from Mango for just £49.99 - and they look exactly like Kate's.
The stylish princess later sat down to chat to the pupils, all girls aged from 11-13, who spoke about their experiences at school, home life and the benefits of being mentored by a sports star.
To mark Mental Health Awareness Week, Kate was also joined by Love Island star-turned-documentary-maker and advocate Zara McDermott - who is an ambassador for the princesses' Shaping Us early years campaign which aims to improve society’s understanding of the significance of early childhood in shaping adulthood and society as a whole.
If you're looking for a statement piece to elevate your summer wardrobe, the brightly coloured £359 yellow blazer from LK Bennett is the perfect way to do so.
