The Princess of Wales has comforted members of the public by sharing Prince Louis' touching response following the death of his great grandmother, the Queen. Kate Middleton revealed the moving words her youngest son said after learning of the sad news, when meeting with wellwishers and viewing floral tributes laid at Windsor Castle.
A video of the sweet interaction has emerged, in which the mother-of-three can be heard telling children: "Louis said at least Grannie is with great grandpa now." It also shows the heartfelt moment she welled up as she spoke the words and that the viral snippet was part of a longer conversation, in which she comforted the gathered children, reassuring them "the whole nation is having to be brave".

The warm exchange was caught on camera by Mags May, who shared a video of the conversation to TikTok as @magsmay1.
In the video, the Princess of Wales talks to the children of her own son, four-year-old Prince Louis.
She can be heard saying: "The whole nation is having to be brave. Don't worry, I have plenty moments like this too.
"My little Louis, he is just so sweet. He said: 'Mummy don't worry, she's now with great grandpa'."
Kate also thanked the crowd around her, adding: "Thank you for coming to pay your respects today," before shaking hands with more well-wishers, praising one for being "very brave."
The video has since been viewed over two million times, and it has been inundated with messages of support for the Princess.
One person wrote: "I absolutely love this woman, if anyone ever deserved to take over the role the princess of wales it is her. she is incredible."
Another viewer said: "Awww Kate is so lovely. A true Princess." And when replying to commenters, the videographer added: "It was so beautiful today, very emotional."
