Over a decade ago, millions around the world had gathered around the TV or on the streets of London to watch Prince William wed Kate Middleton.
One of the biggest events of the decade, a number of aspects of the wedding had been kept tightly under wraps, with the public and the press supposed to be wowed on the day.
However, despite some serious planning and efforts to hide details of the nuptials, the Duchess of Cambridge was said to be "in tears at the palace" after one secret was leaked.
