Kate Middleton spotted deep in thought on school run for first time since Harry book claims

The Princess of Wales has been spotted for the first time this morning after several bombshell claims made against her were detailed in Prince Harry's memoir Spare. Kate looked deep in thought behind the wheel as she dropped her three children off at school for the first day of term after her royal brother-in-law made several shocking claims about her in his new book.

The mum-of-three was seen making her way back from Lambrook School where her children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have returned to after the Christmas holidays, the Mirror reports. Harry shot fire at his sister-in-law several times throughout his 407-page book including claims she 'howled' at his infamous Nazi fancy dress outfit.

The Prince also accused Kate of 'stereotyping' his wife, Meghan Markle as he says her behaviour created a barrier between the two and disclosed details of a row over bridesmaids dresses for his wedding which left Meghan in tears. In a TV interview to promote the book's release he further explains: "I don’t think they [William and Kate] were ever expecting me to get into a relationship with someone like Meghan, who had, you know, a very successful career.

"There was a lot of stereotyping that was happening, that I was guilty of as well, at the beginning."

When asked to touch more on what he meant by that he said: "American actress, and that was playing out in the British press in the media at the time as well.

"I had that in the back of my mind, and some of the things that my brother and sister-in-law – some of the way that they were acting or behaving definitely felt to me as though unfortunately that stereotyping was causing a bit of a barrier to them really sort of, you know, introducing or welcoming her in."

When asked to specify further he continued: "Well, American actress, divorced, biracial - there's all different parts to that and what that can mean but if you are, like a lot of my family do, if you are reading the press, the British tabloids, [Yeah] at the same time as living the life, then there is a tendency where you could actually end up living in the tabloid bubble rather than the actual reality."

The Princess of Wales has confirmed to aides with Prince William and King Charles that it is 'business as usual' and royal duties will continue across the UK on Thursday.

The King is set to attend a community group close to his Balmoral home in Scotland and William and Kate are due at a community engagement in the north of England. Sources have said the senior royals will not be commenting on Harry's claims within his new book as he continues on a promotional TV tour in the US.

The Duke of Sussex appeared on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night as he downed tequila shots while aides said the royals were 'getting on with the job'.

A royal source said: “The message is it's very much business as usual. There's lots to look forward to so the focus is on supporting communities and not being distracted, that’s best for everyone."
