Kate Middleton was left speechless after being confronted by a woman and told she's not "in her own country" during a visit to Co Antrim today.

The exchange unfolded when Kate and her husband, Britain's Prince William, were undertaking an impromptu meet and greet with people in Carrickfergus.

While shaking hands with Kate, a woman said: “Nice to meet you but it would be better if it was when you were in your own country.”
