Netflix’s popular series The Crown will start filming for its sixth and final season this summer. The casting crew are currently looking to cast a Kate Middleton lookalike to play a young Kate in the series.
It was reported that The Crown is searching to cast Kate at the beginning of April and later that month the casting call notice was published on Twitter.
The casting call explains no previous professional experience is required, only a strong resemblance to the 18-year-old version of Kate.

Who is Kate Middleton’s lookalike?
Australian Brittany Dixon, who bears a strong resemblance to the royal, is a painter and was encouraged to sign up for the role by her TikTok followers.
Dixon then took to TikTok to tell her followers she has applied to play the role of Kate in the upcoming series.
"I did end up applying, they just wanted a selfie and some general information, and a 30 second video of me talking about something I love – obviously I spoke about painting.
"We'll see how it goes, we'll see if they even see it, thanks guys for being so nice!" she continued
Will there be a season six of The Crown?
Yes, season six of The Crown is confirmed and it will be that last season for the hit Netflix series.
It will take place from the 1990s to the early 2000s, covering the end of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage and her fatal accident in 1997.
A few of the cast members have now been confirmed. Elizabeth Debicki will portray Princess Diana, taking over from Emma Corrin in season five of The Crown. Dominic West will take on the role of Prince Charles meanwhile the Queen will be portrayed by Imelda Staunton.
