Nicola wore a custom Valentino design. And while the dress was simple and stunning, there was also much talk about why she didn't wear a design from her future mother-in-law Victoria Beckham.

The fact Nicola didn't wear a Victoria Beckham creation meant the pair were focus of feud rumours, but Nicola hoped to put that bed as she told Variety in an interview after her big day: "I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realised that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress.

"She didn’t say you can’t wear it; I didn’t say I didn’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that."
