Kate Middleton wore a magnificent collection of clothes throughout the Coronation weekend which could be sign of what's to come for the senior royal, an expert has said.
The Princess of Wales was a vision of regal colours as she glowed in all shades of red, white and blue last weekend.
But her new look means more than just a change of wardrobe according to body language expert Darren Stanton who said the colours "denote confidence and power."
Kate's clothes were a lot brighter than usual when she attended the royal ceremony and earlier events to mark the official crowning of her father-in-law the King.
She wore regal colours of red, white and blue instead of her previous softer colours of choice which were a sign of her taking more of a backseat role to let others shine.
"Kate is dressed in her superhero colours red or blue," Darren told the Express.co.uk.
"These colours denote confidence and power, which is quite significant as usually with major events such as these Kate chooses softer colours to take more of a backseat role and shy away from the spotlight to let others shine."
Red is the colour of passion and energy according to Color Meanings which says it "radiates a strong and powerful energy", drawing attention like no other colour.
While white symbolises purity and innocence according to experts who say it is a true balance of all colours, associated with simplicity and perfection.
Blue, on the other hand, has a calming and relaxing effect on the mind and is the colour of trust and loyalty which is said to give us peace and make us feel secure and confident.
Kate wowed in a white Suzannah London dress and a bright red Eponine London coat in the days leading up to the Coronation.
The following day, she wore a bespoke white Jenny Packham dress to a lunch at Buckingham Palace.
That evening, she dazzled in cobalt blue changing into a Mrs Self Portrait crystal-embellished wrap dress.
For Coronation Day itself, underneath her official blue robes and red Mantle, the princess wore a bespoke white Alexander McQueen gown.
She then attended a Big Lunch in Windsor wearing a pale blue Reiss blazer and a white t-shirt.
For the Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle, Kate put on her red Alexander McQueen suit.
This was followed by a casual outfit consisting of a Really Wild Clothing frill neck shirt in pale blue and her G-Star Raw cargo pants when she attended the Big Help Out on Monday with Prince William and their children.
For Tuesday’s Buckingham Palace Garden Party, the Princess stepped out in her 2019 Ascot ensemble from Elie Saab.
