Kate Middleton has revealed her true feelings towards her stepmother-in-law Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, a royal watcher has claimed.

The touching exchange, billed a huge "act of inconvenience", occurred as Kate greeted Camilla at today's Commonwealth Day service.

While the Queen was absent as she "paces herself" ahead of her 96th birthday this year, Kate and Camilla were at Westminster Abbey service alongside husbands Prince William and Prince Charles.
