In the highly anticipated sci-fi thriller, The Astronaut, audiences are taken on a suspenseful journey that explores the unsettling aftermath of a space mission gone awry. Directed by Jess Varley and currently in post-production, the film boasts an impressive cast including Kate Mara, Laurence Fishburne, and Gabriel Luna.

The Astronaut centers around the character of Sam Walker, played by Kate Mara, a NASA astronaut who miraculously survives a punctured capsule found deep in the Atlantic Ocean after her first space mission. Upon her return to Earth, instead of the warm embrace of her husband, brilliantly portrayed by Gabriel Luna, Sam finds herself under strict surveillance by NASA.
