Kate Garraway has revealed how her Covid-stricken husband Derek Draper embarked on a secret journey to Mexico to take part in a ground-breaking medical trial.

The Good Morning Britain presenter, 54, confessed that she joined her ill hubby on the 11,000-mile trip as PM Boris Johnson lifted the country's Covid restrictions.

And the journey comes as Kate also admitted her hubby is "desperate to get better" and described how a US doctor contacted her after discovering Derek's state on TV.
