Kate Garraway has revealed why she missed the eighth anniversary of Good Morning Britain on Friday.

The TV presenter updated her 1.1 million Instagram followers after she was nowhere to be seen during the latest instalment.

Kate usually co-hosts Friday's GMB alongside Ben Shephard but colleague Charlotte Hawkins stepped in instead, the Daily Star reports.
