Kate Garraway was praised by Alison Hammond for juggling her work and her care of Derek Draper.
Her husband Derek was rushed to hospital in 2020 after testing positive for coronavirus. He remains one of the worst affected living Covid patients in the UK after spending 13 months in hospital.
The virus caused him to have issues with communicating, mobility and other health problems and he was recently readmitted to hospital after taking a "turn for the worse". However, he is back home now as Kate continues to juggle her work on Good Morning Britain and her radio show with raising her two children and looking after Derek too.
