Kate Garraway i s hiring a chef to cook Christmas dinner, so she can can look after her husband Derek, according to reports.
The former spin doctor, 55, is continuing to fight against Covid-19, having been released from hospital earlier this month after developing sepsis.
Kate, also 55, told the Lorraine show it had been a "long battle" to get her husband home as she adjusts to her new role of carer.
However, the Good Morning Britain host is said to be pulling out all the stops for Christmas.
Kate will be spending the festive period with Derek and the couple's kids Darcey, 16, and Billy, 13.
Ahead of the big day, a source said: "Kate's not holding back this year - she's already found a chef who can cook a full Christmas meal for them.
"It'll no doubt be full-on as he [Derek] needs round the clock care, which Kate takes on herself alongside his carers," reports Closer magazine.
The Mirror has contacted Kate's reps for comment.
Derek was rushed to hospital earlier this year after developing sepsis - two years after his body was ravaged by coronavirus.
Thankfully, he is now back home with Kate, who said her husband's release from hospital was "the biggest gift", adding "everything feels suddenly perfect".
A source said the presenter is "doing her best to stay positive" adding the star was "extremely grateful Derek is home to begin his New Year afresh, getting his recovery on track."
Darcey and Billy, who are no doubt delighted their dad is home for Christmas, are said to have decorated Derek's room in time for the festive period.
Their mum Kate regularly shares insights into the daily juggling of life on TV and being a carer for her husband, as Derek fights to improve his health.
The presenter was visibly emotional as she gave an update on her partner's health on the Lorraine show earlier this month.
The mum-of-two opened up to her colleague about the struggles she's faced while caring for Derek long-term, including feeling like a burden to her co-presenters.
Kate cut a sombre figure as she spoke about caring for her husband, stressing she empathised with anyone else caring for someone they love.
In the emotional discussion, Kate revealed she was worried her colleagues are “fed up to the back teeth” of her talking about her family’s health struggles.
When Lorraine asked how Derek was doing, Kate replied: "Oh, I mean you know, it's a long onslaught. I can see he has better days, he has worse days. He is thankfully at home now. It's been a long battle to get him back home again.”
