Kate Garraway has given a health update on husband Derek Draper, as he remains in hospital after developing sepsis but she's determined to get him back home as soon as she can.
Former political aide Derek, 55, was rushed to hospital after developing the life-threatening infection earlier this year - two years after he contracted coronavirus. Kate has been sharing insights into her daily juggling of life on TV and being a carer for her husband, as he fights to improve his health.
Giving an update on his health battle, the Good Morning Britain presenter revealed there has been a setback and he has been staying at the hospital. "Derek is back in hospital after developing sepsis that again threatened his life and we are again fighting to get him home," the 55-year-old said.
