Kate Ferdinand has updated fans on her mental health and has expressed gratitude for their continued support after revealing last month that she had suffered a miscarriage.
The podcast host, 31, announced a few weeks ago that she had been left "heartbroken and devastated" after miscarrying her second child with husband Rio Ferdinand, 43.
The Only Way is Essex alum - who shares son Cree, almost two, with her husband – explained that she needed surgery after doctors couldn't find a heartbeat for her unborn tot during her 12-week scan.
She later decided to take some time away from social media to be with her family but has since returned to Instagram, where she has shared a series of updates.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Tuesday, Kate opened up about how she is feeling at the moment and thanked her followers for supporting her through such difficult times.
Alongside a selfie of herself in a summery ensemble, she wrote: "I'm so grateful for all your messages. I'm feeling good mentally. Thank you for all continually checking in."
Another post on the platform saw Kate – who has been married to former footballer Rio since 2019 – pay tribute to her husband. She called him: "My forever love".
The comment was made alongside a photo of herself and Rio, who has three older children – Lorenz, 16, Tate, 14, and Tia, 11 – from his marriage to the late Rebecca Ellison, to whom Kate is a proud step mum.
She also opened up about her brood's upcoming return to school, with her writing in another post on the platform: "I've had such a lovely summer holidays with the kids."
"So many memories made but I'm well and truly ready for school time and some routine," Kate continued. She included a photo of herself with toddler Cree sat on her lap.
