Kate Ferdinand was a proud wife as her husband Rio Ferdinand was awarded an Honorary Doctorate.

The former Manchester United footballer was given the honour from London South Bank University on Thursday in recognition for his work on addressing inequality, racism, and the stigma around mental health with his foundation.

Kate took to Instagram to share a photo of her other half getting ready to collect his Honorary Doctorate, donning a blue robe and black cap over his grey suit.
