Kate Ferdinand has announced that she and her husband Rio are expecting their second child together.
The reality star, 31, took to Instagram on Sunday morning to reveal the exciting news to fans.
After meeting former footballer Rio, 44, Kate became stepmother to his children Lorenz, 15, Tate, 13, Tia, 11. The couple married and had a son, Cree, in December 2020.
The Only Way is Essex star delighted followers after sharing a video of her blossoming baby bump.
The footage shows her walking away from the camera before turning, and pulling her coat away to reveal her bump.
“We’ve been praying for you,” Kate captioned the post.
Former Towie co-star Georgia Kousoulou was among those to congratulate her.
“So, so happy for you,” she wrote.
Lauren Pope chimed in: “Omg, amazing news,” while Saffron Lempriere said: “Beautiful.”
Geordie Shore’s Vicky Pattison said: “Omg babe! Congratulations!” while Love Island’s Monata Brown added: "Stop! This is amazing! Congratulations!"
It comes after Kate revealed her heartbreak at suffering a miscarriage last year.
Speaking to her own Blended podcast, she said: "That walk to the hospital felt like the longest walk ever.
"The minute I looked at the lady, she didn’t even have to say anything, I just looked at her face.
"In comparison to when I had Cree, the facial expression was very different - they’re happy saying, ‘Oh lovely, all’s okay’. And then the lady just didn’t say anything. It was just awful.
"I just burst into tears, she hadn’t even said anything and Rio was like, ‘Calm down’ and I was like, ‘I know, I know, I know’ and they said there’s no heartbeat.”
Rio became involved with Kate after his ex-wife Rebecca Ellison died in 2015 following a battle with breast cancer.
